Hornby receives three multiyear, six-figure grants

Assistant Professor T. George Hornby has received three multiyear, six-figure grants. The first, funded at $150,000 per year for three years, is to investigate the effects of selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor and to measure impairment in individuals with chronic stroke.

Also, a two-year, $110,000-per-year grant will fund investigation of early and late administration of specific agents to alter motor behaviors in incomplete spinal cord injuries (SCI).

A third grant of $100,000 per year for five years will fund development of low-cost, nonmotorized instruments to augment muscle activity in SCI.
