UIC offers several types of financial assistance for graduate students, including assistantships, loans, and employment. More information can be found on the UIC financial aid web site. Although DPT students belong to a professional program, for financial aid purposes they are considered graduate students.

DPT Program
The department occasionally offers part-time assistantships to some DPT students depending on the departmental budget. These assistantships carry a partial tuition waiver and a monthly stipend. The department also offers limited part-time hourly positions which do not include tuition waivers.

MS Program
The department is able to offer limited financial support to some MS students. Each semester one full-time student is awarded a full tuition waiver. Part-time assistantships are sometimes available, depending on the departmental budgetary situation and external funding.
