The Department of Physical Therapy seeks applicants who will contribute to the profession and society, and particularly encourages applicants who will increase the cultural and ethnic diversity of physical therapy.

We admit student to the following programs:

Doctor of Physical Therapy Program
Master of Science in Rehabilitation Sciences Program
Fellowship in Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy Program

We also advise students in the PhD in Movement Sciences program and the PhD in Disability Studies program. Please visit these web sites to learn more about applying.

Application deadlines, admissions criteria, and prerequisites vary by program. Admission to UIC's physical therapy programs requires the GRE exam; international students must pass the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL).
