The Department of Kinesiology and Nutrition at UIC’s College of Applied Health Sciences offers more than a superior classroom education. Both undergraduate and graduate students have ample opportunities to become engaged in exciting research projects under the direction of distinguished faculty scientists. UIC also has ties to more than 100 clinical internship sites, offering students the chance to gain real-world experience during their course of study.

We admit students to the following programs:

Kinesiology: BS | MS

Nutrition: BS, Coordinated Program | BS, Nutrition Science | MS, Coordinated Program | MS, Traditional Program

PhD in Kinesiology, Nutrition and Rehabilitation

Application deadlines, admissions criteria, and prerequisites vary by program. Graduate programs require the GRE exam; international students must pass the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL).
