Financial Aid

UIC offers several types of financial assistance for graduate students, including assistantships, loans, and employment. More information can be found on the UIC financial aid web site.

Assistantships for PhD Students
Graduate assistantships are the primary means of support for PhD students seeking financial assistance. The Department of Disability and Human Development offers appointments in both teaching and research (or a combination of both).

Assistantships are competitive, so interested applicants should submit their materials early for full consideration. The application for all graduate assistantships should be submitted along with your application for admission.
