Curriculum
Practicum Experiences
Students may earn credit while working at a practicum site under the supervision of a practitioner. The department has affiliations with over 20 clinical sites representing a wide array of biomedical visualization settings including hospitals, veterinary schools, prosthetics clinics, museums, animation studios, and private businesses.
Project Research
As professionals, graduates are expected to contribute to the field by disseminating information that will benefit their colleagues. Students are required to write a paper for a peer reviewed journal and deliver an oral presentation on a topic they have researched. A thesis option is also available.
