Make a Gift
With your gift, we will continue to maintain our excellence and high academic standards.
Why should you make a gift?
- To show alumni support. A major priority for the college is to increase its alumni participation rate to demonstrate to corporate, foundation and government funders that our former students believe in the importance of a quality health sciences education. Your gift, no matter what size, will help us meet that objective.
- To make a difference. The cumulative effect of every gift is significant. Your gift will help provide the essentials that the state of Illinois can no longer provide. This includes investments in classroom and technology upgrades.
- To enhance your degree. Generous alumni support strengthens student and community outreach programs enhancing the reputation of AHS and in turn increase the value of your AHS degree.
- To sustain excellence. To attract and retain the most promising students and talented faculty is a necessity. Your gift will have an impact on the quality of teaching, scholarship, and on improvements to facilities to keep AHS as a nationally recognized leader in allied health care education.

The Applied Health Sciences (AHS) Annual Fund
Gifts to The AHS Annual Fund provides the college with current impact funding that will be used by the Dean and department heads to immediately enhance the college's mission to educate the best and brightest of today's health sciences students. Annual fund gifts of any size from $25 to $5,000 have been used to provide student travel awards to professional conferences, upgrade instructional technology in our classrooms, improve student learning and living spaces, and in some instances have been designated to support a specific scholarship or award.

Matching Gifts
Increase your contribution at no additional cost to you! Did you know that some employers will match your charitable gifts? Please contact your company’s human resources department to learn about their policies and to obtain your matching gift form.
Planned and Estate Gifts
The college's planned giving professional will work closely and confidentially with you and your financial advisors to ensure that your gift achieves your individual goals and expresses your passion for investing in tomorrow’s health sciences leaders. Planned and estate gifts can take many forms including a gift of securities or real estate. We would be pleased to discuss the many options for making a difference in the lives of our students and faculty.

Volunteer
Alumni volunteers are needed to help with AHS board activities, to provide student mentoring, internship opportunities, speaking to a class, and a wide variety of other college and campus-wide initiatives.
