Founded in 1997, the Virtual Reality in Medicine Lab (VRMedLabSM) combines UIC's century-long tradition of visual medical communication with advanced visualization and networking technologies. Our research and development team of physicians, medical artists, bioengineers, computer scientists, programmers and computer graphics experts creates Tele-Immersive Virtual Reality tools to empower the medical community.
