Housing
UIC has several residence halls that offer students a convenient location, safety, affordability, and the chance to be part of a community of fellow students.
The College of Applied Health Sciences is located on the university's west campus where undergraduates have three dorms to choose from; apartment-style housing is available to graduate students. Space in the dorms is at a premium so be sure to apply early.
Students who are unfamiliar with Chicago may choose to live in the dorms for a year until they become acquainted with the various neighborhoods in the city. "Little Italy", the neighborhood around UIC, is currently undergoing a period of rapid expansion and development. It provides plenty of off-campus housing options for students.
